Maadurga Thermal Power Company Limited (MTPCL) is a thermal power generation company located in Tangi, Cuttack, Odisha, operating a 60 MW (2 x 30 MW) power plant. Established in 2011 and commissioned in July 2024, MTPCL is committed to delivering reliable and efficient energy to support industrial and commercial growth in the region.

MTPCL is proudly promoted by the United Group of Companies, headquartered in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Dinesh Sonthalia (Chairman & Managing Director), Mr. Kishan Sonthalia (Director), Mr. Dhruv Sonthalia (Director), and Mr. Gaurav Sonthalia (CEO & Director), the company is guided by a strong vision for operational excellence, sustainability, and community development.

With a focus on operational excellence, environmental compliance, and sustainable growth, we are committed to contributing to India’s energy infrastructure while maintaining the highest standards of safety, reliability, and responsibility. MTPCL has secured long-term and medium-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with GRIDCO Ltd. and Noida Power Company Limited, ensuring consistent power off-take. The company has obtained all necessary regulatory approvals and clearances from the Government of Odisha and other competent authorities.
